FIELD: mechanical engineering; fans and ventilators. ^ SUBSTANCE: low-noise fan is made in form of frame on which shaft is installed on supports. Fitted on one end of shaft is fan impeller rigidly secured on shaft which is rotated by electric motor arranged on frame through V-belt drive. Skeleton made up of angle plates is rigidly attached to frame for fastening fan housing with inlet and outlet branch pipes through elastic gaskets. Housings of shaft support are installed on frame through elastic gaskets, and bearings of shaft are installed in housing of support through elastic bushings. Gaskets made of mats type KB-I or KB-2 or other vibration isolating material can be used as elastic vibration isolating gaskets. Bushings made of polyurethane or other vibration isolating elastomers can be used as elastic bushings. ^ EFFECT: improved efficiency of noise damping owing to increased sound absorption coefficient by increasing surfaces of sound absorption at preservation of overall dimensions of fan set. ^ 6 cl, 2 dwg |
