A system and a method for performing EC in the mobile network are provided to reduce time/effort needed for calculating/paying for products without a large facility investment by linking a widely distributed mobile terminal for reading a barcode through an embedded camera with a conventional POS system. A products code input part(120) recognizes a products code of the desired products. A shopping list generator(130) generates a shopping list by storing the products codes inputted from the products code input part. A shopping list transmitter(170) transmits the shopping list to a POS server of a shop. A shopping application controls the products code input part, the shopping list generator, and the shopping list transmitter. A payment application(140) performs payment according to the shopping list by using the mobile network. A shopping application operator(112) operates the shopping application if the first products code is received from the products code input part. The POS server of the shop includes a shopping list receiver for receiving the shopping list from the mobile terminal.
