The invention relates to a method for transmitting a predetermined pulse sequence(I1, I2, I3) on a power distribution network (3) transmitting a determined voltage(Uac), wherein the pulses are embodied in the form of high-frequency interfering pulses naturally transmitted by an electric element (1) which is connected to the distribution network by a switch (2) controllable by a control signal (CS)in such a way that said high-frequency interfering pulses are transmitted at the control signal rate. In one embodiment, the control signal is used as a data carrier in such a way that the data carrying high-frequency interfering pulses are transmitted at the control signal rate. |
