DISPOSAL APPARATUS FOR FOOD WASTE

A foodwaste treatment apparatus is provided to crush large volumed foodwaste easily by controlling height of screw blades of a crushing unit and realize fast draining for preventing overflow. A foodwaste treatment apparatus includes a crushing unit(300) mounted at a lower part in a sink(100) for crushing foodwaste introduced from the sink, and a drying/discharging unit(500) for storing the crushed foodwaste and drying the same. A compression/conveying unit(400) is mounted at a lower part of the crushing unit for conveying the foodwaste while crushing the same. A keeping case(600) is positioned at a lower end of the drying/discharge unit for keeping the foodwaste discharged from the drying/discharge unit. The crushing unit has a housing connected to the sink and the compression/conveying unit, and a crushing roller formed with one or more screw blades, wherein the housing is connected to a drain pipe for preventing overflow of water.
