A necklace-type digital portable device is provided to allow a user to appreciate the music of high sound quality by using a high-quality earphone by forming a universal earphone connector in a body and directly connecting a universal earphone plug to the body. A universal earphone connector(111) is formed at one side of a body(110). An earphone assembly(120) includes an earphone plug(121), one or more earphone speakers, a supporter(123), a strap(124), and an extending part(125). The earphone plug(121) is inserted and connected into the universal earphone connector(111). The earphone speakers connect with the earphone plug(121). The supporter(123) supports the earphone plug(121). The strap(124) connects to both ends of the supporter(123), ejects the earphone speakers with certain length, and contains a line which connects the earphone plug(121) with the earphone speakers. The extending part(125) is extended and formed to cover a part of both sides of the body(110) in a state that the earphone plug(121) is inserted into the universal earphone connector(111). The earphone assembly(120) is mounted and demounted in and from the body(110) according as the earphone plug(121) is inserted and ejected into and from the universal earphone connector(111).
