<p>#CMT# #/CMT# The method involves recovering data concerning an aircraft or a runway when the aircraft is landing, and acquiring a position of the aircraft on the runway and speed in a taxiing phase. Distance of the aircraft traveled on the runway is calculated when the aircraft reaches a certain speed, and the speed of the aircraft is calculated when the aircraft has traveled a certain distance. The distance and/or the speed are calculated assuming that the speed of the aircraft decreases according to a predefined time function. #CMT# : #/CMT# An independent claim is also included for a system to assist in adjusting the braking intensity of an aircraft. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Used for providing braking intensity adjustment of an aircraft on a landing runway in an airport. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The method effectively assists in the braking of the aircraft on the landing runway. The method optimizes the occupancy time of the runway when landing the aircraft and optimizes the fuel consumption after the wheels touch the runway.
