The method involves fixing an object (5) on a rigid steel plate (3) comprising a flat lower surface, which is applied and fixed on an upper surface of a flat roof using an adhesive (4), where the adhesive is distributed on bonding zones of the lower surface of the plate. The upper surface is covered by a tightness complex, which comprises an insulating layer covered with bituminous coating. An independent claim is also included for a device for anchoring an object on a flat roof.
