A hinge unit and a mobile communication terminal having the same are provided to disassemble the hinge unit from a main body such that bodies are easily separated and damage on surfaces of the bodies can be prevented when disassembling the hinge unit. A hinge unit comprises a hinge housing(310), a support housing(320), a cam unit(330) and a grab unit(340). The hinge housing(310) is formed on the first body. The support housing(320) is formed on the second body for supporting rotatably the hinge housing(310). The cam unit(330), installed within the hinge housing(310) and the support housing(320), provides an elastic force for the first body when the first body rotates on the second body. The grab unit(340), installed at the cam unit(330), moves the cam unit(330) into the support housing(320) when the hinge housing(310) is disassembled from the support housing(320).
