ELECTRODE INSTALL STRUCTURE FOR ENHANCING MIXING EFFECT OF FLUID MATERIAL IN MICROCHANNEL

Provided is an electrode installation structure, which is capable of more effectively mixing two fluids with different properties during an electroosmosis flow and which is easy to manufacture at lower costs with a reduced amount of defects. The electrode installation structure for enhancing the mixing effect of fluid materials in a microchannel has an electrode formed at the bottom surface of the microchannel, or the channel formation direction, along which a fluid material travels. The electrode has an increasing area starting from one side of the bottom surface of the microchannel towards the other side. Meanwhile, an adjacent electrode has an increasing area starting from the other side. That is, each of the electrodes has a triangle shape or an inverted triangle shape.
