#CMT# #/CMT# The device has a pre-mounting unit (3) introduced simultaneously in orifices (81, 91) of a structure element (8) and an equipment part (9) of a motor vehicle, respectively and comprises a central hole. A screw (7) is introduced in the hole via an end part (35) of the unit. A nut (5) is arranged on the unit via another end part (37) of the unit and co-operates with the screw, where the unit, screw and nut are made of synthetic material. The unit and the screw comprise four ribs which block the nut in rotation with respect to the unit. #CMT# : #/CMT# An independent claim is also included for a method for assembling a part on a structure element of a vehicle. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Used for assembling an equipment part on a structure element of a motor vehicle (claimed). #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The device can be mounted and adjusted on the structure element and the equipment part from single side. The device permits to assemble the structure element and the equipment part without any clearance even when the face of the structure element is strongly loaded or inaccessible. The pre-mounting unit, screw and nut are made of synthetic material, thus permitting to limit the risk of damage of the equipment part and the structure element of the motor vehicle during assembling.
