An optical information processing device is provided to enable servo control of a reproduction beam by using the beam reproduced from a selected recording area without using a separate light source for the servo control, thereby simplifying configuration of the processing device as improving usage efficiency. A light source(100) projects a reproduction reference beam on an optical information storage medium(190). A beam splitter(120) splits a reproduction beam reproduced by the reference beam in a predetermined ratio for servo control and optical information reproduction. A servo beam detector(170) detects the reproduction beam split by the splitter(120) for the servo control. A reproduction beam detector(160) detects the reproduction beam split by the splitter(120) for the optical information reproduction.
