<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology effective in stabilizing quality about the performance of keeping the folded shape of an air bag folded previously in a vehicle-mounted air bag device. <P>SOLUTION: The air bag device 100 mounted in a vehicle is constituted such that the folded shape of the air bag 110 is kept by an air bag holder 160 installed so as to cover the outside surface of the air bag 110 in the folded state accommodated in a retainer 140.
