<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly combine the functions of sensing a driver's state and of monitoring a vehicle in a controller of a vehicle-mounted camera. <P>SOLUTION: In this controller of a vehicle-mounted camera, an image processing range utilized among all of images picked up by a vehicle-mounted camera installed in a compartment is made comparatively narrow when a face direction angle of the driver is detected in a PCS system, and made comparatively wide when a wide range of picked-up images are fetched in a vehicle monitoring system. Also, the image processing range is switched between the comparatively narrow range and the comparatively wide range by turning on or off an ignition switch according to whether the vehicle is traveling or stopped. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
