<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat pump water heater and a controller for the heat pump water heater capable of suppressing lowering of stored hot water temperature in a hot water storage tank even when air in a circulation circuit is discharged which deteriorates stability of boiling in a heat pump device. <P>SOLUTION: The controller operates a circulation pump so that a predetermined flow rate is obtained for circulation circuit air bleeding for a predetermined amount of time t within a predetermined period. Therefore, the air bleeding operation time can be shortened compared to a conventional case in which an air bleeding operation for a certain amount of time is performed every time a heat pump device performs a boiling operation, and the flow rate of low temperature water into the hot water storage tank can be suppressed. As such, even when the air bleeding operation of a circulation circuit is performed, lowering of hot water temperature in the hot water storage tank can be suppressed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
