<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fiber composite having a low dielectric constant and dielectric loss tangent (dielectric loss), and a low linear expansion coefficient; and to provide a method for producing the composite. <P>SOLUTION: The fiber composite includes colloidal silica formed into a fiber shape in a ring-opened polymer of a di- or poly-functional dihydrobenzoxazine compound. The method for producing the fiber composite comprises a step for impregnating a fiber sheet with a colloidal silica solution, and drying the impregnated product, a step for impregnating the product with the di- or poly-functional dihydrobenzoxazine compound, and a step for heating and integrating the whole under pressurizing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
