<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety system device getting instantaneously into braked state when an operator leaves a cart unconsciously by making a grip part to be pushed by the operator for transportation also work as a brake. <P>SOLUTION: This brake device allows the cart to travel by pushing a grip handle downward, and automatically brakes when hands are separated and a handle lever is returned. A toggle mechanism is structured of fittings 13 for pushing a wheel tire and a link 11. A brake on/off device of the cart is structured by using a curve R of a figure 13 of a process for converting to a large force just before reaching the dead point after turning the direction of the link 11 in a process for extending a compression spring 9, and a zone Xp-X1 of the curve R is applied to a part to be brought in contact with the tire, and when the spring is compressed, the brake fitting is opened to release the brake, and when hands are separated, a toggle curve output strong part is converted to the pushing force by the repulsion force of the spring. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
