PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the efficiency of utilizing a multilayer network.

SOLUTION: A boundary node apparatus provides resources of a backbone network 1000 to a plurality of service networks 2000 in the backbone network 1000 housing the service networks 2000 and is characterized in that the apparatus includes: a resource reservation means 12A for reserving the resources of the backbone network 1000 and storing them into a storage means; and a resource providing means 18A for providing the resources reserved by the resource reservation means 12A to the service networks 2000 to allow the service networks 2000 to share the resources.
