PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration proof device with intermediate plates capable of being easily and properly positioned in the peripheral direction. SOLUTION: A rubber bush 1 comprises an inner cylinder 2, an outer cylinder 3 encircling the inner cylinder 2 in axial parallel thereto, a vibration proof base 4 formed of a rubber elastic body and laid between the inner cylinder 2 and the outer cylinder 3, the pair of intermediate plates 5 embedded in the vibration proof base 4 at positions of holding the inner cylinder 2 therebetween, and a space part 6 located on both peripheral sides of the intermediate plates 5. Each intermediate plate 5 has a peripheral end 5b covered with a covering part 13 which is formed of a rubber elastic body and swollen to the peripheral direction, and opposed to the space part 6, and an axial end 5a provided with an engaging part 14.
