PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a shutter chance from being missed by obtaining the identical lightness with a much less current in an imaging apparatus including LEDs in three colors of R, G, B as light sources for lighting an object. SOLUTION: In an imaging apparatus 1 which takes an image by obtaining a white color by emitting LEDs in three colors of R, G, B when the quantity of light is little, when a remaining battery capacity detection section 13 determines that the remaining capacity of a battery 7 is close to the end during imaging, only an LED with highest light emission efficiency is emitted as lighting of an object, among an R-LED 9, G-LED 10 and B-LED 11.
