PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical device which can improve operability when imaged and in image reproduction, and is excellent in visibility of a display unit. SOLUTION: The camera unit of the optical device having an imaging lens, an imaging element, and the display are detachably attached on a body unit, signals of images are exchanged between the units when the camera unit is attached on the body unit to take and reproduce images, the image or information of the images are displayed on the display of the body unit, and display images of the display of the camera unit can be observed.
