PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cellulose acylate film from which fine display unevenness occurring when being incorporated into a liquid crystal display device is extremely reduced. SOLUTION: The cellulose acylate film is produced while regulating melt viscosity so that when the melt viscosity 5 min after melting the cellulose acylate in nitrogen containing 1% oxygen at 220°C isη5, and the melt viscosity 60 min after the melting isη60, the absolute value ¾η5-η60¾ of the difference thereof may be≤2,000 (pa s).
