PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface-mounted resonator having cap boards using insulating ceramic base boards so that the cap boards are satisfactorily laminated on top of capacitors and resonance boards. SOLUTION: A capacitor base board, a resonance base board and a cap base board are provided. The cap base board has cap terminal connecting electrodes and oscillating grooves. The cap boards are formed by cutting the cap base board with each of the oscillating grooves as a unit. The resonance base board has resonance openings and resonance electrodes around the resonance openings. The resonance boards are formed by cutting the resonance base board with each of the resonance electrodes as a unit. The capacitor base board has capacitor electrodes, capacitor terminal connecting electrodes, and other oscillating slots. The capacitor boards are formed by cutting the capacitor base board with each of the other oscillating grooves as a unit. By laminating the capacitor boards, the resonance boards, and the cap boards in turn, at least one surface-mounted resonator can be formed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
