PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content management system capable of acquiring related information recorded at a recording location different from a recording medium recording a content for the recording medium reproducing the content. SOLUTION: When the content recorded in the recording medium 10 by audio equipment 1 is transmitted to a semiconductor memory device 2, a TOC key to the transmitted content is recorded in the semiconductor memory device 2. When the semiconductor memory device 2 is installed in a related information acquisition device 3 capable of communicating with a CDDB4, the CDDB4 is searched based on the TOC key of the content without related information in the semiconductor memory device 2 to acquire the related information.
