PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fire alarm system for an apartment house for reducing costs and for simplifying a construction work by eliminating the unnecessary for arranging between an emergency power source device and each housing information board all with wiring exclusive for emergency power source. SOLUTION: This fire alarm system is provided with the housing information board of each residence to which at least a fire sensor is connected and a building receiver for transmitting a warning control signal to the housing information boards of adjacent residences when receiving a fire signal from any of the housing information board of each residence, to output fire warnings. The housing information boards operates by receiving power supply from the emergency power unit in the case of power failure. The emergency power unit is connected through an emergency power line to the building receiver, and the housing information board of each residence is connected through a multiple transmission line to the building receiver, and the emergency power unit is connected through the emergency power line and the multiple transmission line to the housing information board.
