PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appreciate an image on a large screen, and to readily handle a display apparatus when the display apparatus is not used, by making it compact. SOLUTION: The display apparatus 100 which displays the image on a display surface has a plurality of light-emitting members, which are arrayed along the display surface and emit light along the lengths, are coupled to be wound around an axis parallel to the lengths of the light-emitting members. The plurality of light-emitting members wound around the axis parallel to the lengths of the light-emitting members are stored in a storage section 120, while one end side of the display surface is supported by a support member provided in the storage section 120. Consequently, the image can be displayed on a large screen, as compared with a display apparatus provided with light-emitting elements by the same resolution with the display apparatus 100, without making the constitution complex.
