PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slide bearing for a heat roller in a fixing apparatus not rotated together even under a heating condition or a pressurizing condition particular for use as the heat roller for the fixing apparatus and in which rotational torque is suppressed to three times or less than that for a ball bearing. SOLUTION: The cylindrical slide bearing 1 in the fixing apparatus is composed by having a cylindrical slide bearing 1 with 4 ethylene resin fluoride as main component divided around an axis and combining two pieces of fired bodies 2 with cross sectional shapes in the axial direction as semi-arc shapes. The semi-arc shape fired bodies 2 are each fired by using a mold of a finishing size and a melt forming layer 3 is formed on an interior surface. Furthermore, mound shaped anti-skid projections 4 which project outward in the direction of a diameter are formed in a periphery direction on an outer periphery surface of the semi-arc shape fired bodies 2 and prevent rotation by being fitted to a housing 6.
