PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-sensitive label attaining adhesiveness, blocking resistance, and a property of suppressing paste remaining and, in addition, which is excellent in workability in attaching because of its good delayed property, and to provide a labeled container with the label attached thereto. SOLUTION: The heat-sensitive label 1 is composed of a label base material 2 on which an adhesive layer 4 and a printing layer 3 are laminated. The adhesive layer comprises: an ethylene-based copolymer whose ethylene content is 66-90 wt.%; a main agent composed of an adhesion imparting agent and a solid plasticizer; and a delayed type heat-sensitive adhesive which contains 10-50 pts.wt. of auxiliary substance of urethane-based resin whose weight average molecular weight is 20,000-300,000 to 100 pts.wt. of the main agent.
