A solenoid valve for a brake system is provided to easily manufacture the solenoid valve and reduce the manufacturing cost by forming a valve core through a forging process and forming a valve seat housing through a drawing process. A solenoid valve for a brake system comprises a valve core(20), a valve dome(42), an armature(43), an excited coil(44), a valve seat housing(30), a valve seat(40), a plunger(45) and a return spring(46). The valve core(20) has a through hole(21) and a flange(22) formed at an outer surface of the valve core(20). The valve dome(42) seals one end of the valve core(20), and the armature(43) is movably installed in the valve dome(42). The excited coil(44) enables the armature(43) to move. The valve seat(40) is fixed in the valve seat housing(30), and has an orifice(41) formed in a center thereof. The return spring(46) presses the plunger(45) toward the armature(43). |
