<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an evaluation method for component recognition condition in electronic component mounting apparatus that enables appropriate component recognition condition to be easily established. <P>SOLUTION: In evaluating the right or wrong of an illumination condition as a component recognition condition in electronic component mounting apparatus; component image-taking and component position recognition are done multiple times under the same illumination condition in a component transferring step of revolving a component around a nozzle shaft, according to a predetermined movement pattern (nozzle revolving pattern) established in conjunction with the tendency of the occurrence of a position recognition error arising from an illumination condition, thus detecting whether the focus of component recognition acquired in the initial component position recognition agrees with the recognition center acquired in the component position recognition after the component has been revolved. Herewith, determining whether the component is at a position where it should be after being revolved, the right or wrong of the illumination condition is determined. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
