<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing and inspecting apparatus capable of correcting a picked-up source image without taking time or labor in the image processing and inspecting apparatus in which an image processor and an illumination device are integrally combined. <P>SOLUTION: The image processing and inspecting apparatus 1 is configured by integrally combining an imaging part 41 for imaging an inspection object, an image input part 42 for fetching the source image imaged by the imaging part 41, a storage part 43 for storing the fetched source image or a corrected image which is a corrected source image, an arithmetic operation part 44 provided with a CPU 44a for performing image processing, an illumination means 3 for illuminating the inspection object, and an inclination angle detection means 5 for detecting the inclination of an apparatus main body.
