<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for detecting radio waves of a tire management system making more accurate detection of presence of transmission from a central control module and reducing power consumption of a sensor module. <P>SOLUTION: When the central control module continuously repeats transmission and reception with a shorter time interval than the transmission, and the sensor module detects presence of transmission from the central control module by a radio wave search with a time interval shorter than that of transmission of the central control module and longer than that of reception of the central control module during data collection by radio communication, and the time interval of the radio wave search is temporally divided into four regions, rising edges of the radio waves (demodulated wavelength) are counted in at least temporally the first region and temporally the last region. When the counted number of the rising edges exceeds a predetermined value in at least one of temporally the first region and temporally the last region, the sensor module performs a reception process. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
