<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of a bad efficiency of prior arts that a logged-in user cannot make logout until data processing is finished since the data processing is stopped when the user makes logout during execution of the data processing using an external storage area corresponding to the logged-in user. <P>SOLUTION: When the user enters user identification information for accessing an external storage device by using an operation section 230, a CPU 201 accesses the external storage area via a LAN 221 on the basis of information denoting the external storage area managed in an identification information table in cross reference with the user identification information. Thereafter when receiving a logout instruction from the operation section 230, the CPU 201 discriminates whether or not the data processing using the accessed storage area is executed and maintains the access state until the data processing is finished even when the user logs out while the data processing is executed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
