<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that prevents an imaging defect and an operation defect such as toner blocking as the temperature in the apparatus rises owing to heat radiated from a sheet passing through a sheet conveyance path for both surface without making the apparatus large-sized nor higher in cost. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus has a fixing means of transferring a toner image formed at an image formation section onto an image-formed member and at least heating the toner image to fix the image on the image-formed member, and an image-formed member conveyance path for image re-formation for forming an image on the image-formed member again by conveying the image-formed member having been fixed by the fixing means to the image formation section again. The image forming apparatus is provided with a heat insulating member which thermally insulates at least the image-formed member conveyance path for image re-formation and the image formation section from each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
