<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IC card, for protecting, in case of interruption of power supply during transaction execution, not only data in a rewritable nonvolatile memory but also data in a volatile memory. <P>SOLUTION: An EEPROM 24 of the IC card includes a command buffer 15 for storing commands received from a terminal during transaction execution using the IC card. The IC card comprises a data restoration module 11 for checking the termination state of a preceding transaction in starting execution of a transaction, restoring, when the preceding transaction is terminated in the middle, data in the EEPROM 24 to be used in the transaction to a state before transaction start, and then successively executing the commands stored in the command buffer 15. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
