<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for amplifying a nucleic acid, by which a specimen elongated over the almost all length of a template nucleic acid can be prepared, and high detection sensitivity for a detection probe at a site near to the 3'-terminal side of the detection probe without being affected by the selected position of the probe can be achieved. <P>SOLUTION: This method for amplifying the nucleic acid to prepare a specimen supplied for the detection of the nucleic acid utilizing a probe hybridization method is characterized by having a process for performing a PCR for the template nucleic acid with a strand substitution type DNA polymerase. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
