PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To construct a wireless LAN system adaptable to a user's purpose by effectively utilizing a wireless resource without increasing a processing load imposed on a wireless LAN base station. SOLUTION: A management terminal 4 connected to the wireless LAN base stations 1-1 to 1-3 via a network 5 transmits information for controlling a wireless characteristic of mobile terminals 3-1 to 3-3 to the wireless LAN base stations 1-1 to 1-3, the information transmitted to the wireless LAN base stations 1-1 to 1-3 is inserted to frames, which the wireless LAN base stations 1-1 to 1-3 transmit to the mobile terminals 3-1 to 3-3, the information is extracted from the frames transmitted to the terminals 3-1 to 3-3, and the mobile terminals 3-1 to 3-3 store the extracted information.
