PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flexible element having a small-sized and highly durable inclination mechanism and rotation mechanism so that the flexible element can be inclined at about 90°at a maximum and rotated within a horizontal plane. SOLUTION: A spherical part 8 is energized and housed turnably within a base part 4 by a coil spring 14 via a sphere receiving part 13. When a flexible element part 3 is extended and inclined, the spherical part 8 is fitted into a sliding groove formed in a sphere holding part 7 of the base par 4, and the element part 3 can be inclined at about 90°to the base part 4 at a maximum. When the element part 3 is turned while being inclined, the base part 4 elastically held by a sliding spring 12 is turned within a holder part 5 and the element 3 can be rotated within the horizontal plane.
