PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the anti-moisture property of a case mold metallized film capacitor by a simple method. SOLUTION: A metallized film made by forming a metal evaporation electrode on a dielectric film is so wound that individual turns of the metal evaporation electrode may face each other via the dielectric film. On both end faces of the rolled metallized film, metalicon electrodes 2 are formed. Then external terminals 3 are so attached that they may be protruding above the metalicon electrodes 2, thus fabricating a capacitor element 1. The metallized film capacitor is comprised of the capacitor element 1, a resin case 4 with the top face opened wherein the capacitor element 1 is to be stored, and a filling resin 5 to fill in a space between the capacitor element 1 and the resin case 4. Between the capacitor element 1 and the resin case 4, a plastic film 6 having a gas barrier property is arranged near the inner wall of the resin case 4. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
