PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a timepiece capable of replacing a bezel member to which glass is fixed without having to remove a case middle. SOLUTION: A wrist watch 11 includes the ring-like case middle 15; a case back 31; the ring-like bezel member 21; the glass 27; and a C-shaped spring member 36. A surface-side end part 15a of the case middle 15 in which a fitting hole 16 is formed has both a bezel-receiving surface 17 and an engaging groove 19 in a circumference of the fitting hole 16. The case back 31 is detachably mounted to a back-side end part 15b of the case middle 15. The glass 27 is fitted in and fixed to a ring-like stepped section 24 formed in the bezel member 21. The bezel member 21 includes both a tubular part 22 insertably and removably fitted in the fitting hole 16 and a cover part 23 overlaid on the bezel-receiving surface 17. The tubular part 22 includes both a ring-like mounting groove 22a open to an inner circumference of the tubular part 22 and a plurality of through holes 22b communicating with the mounting groove 22a and open to the periphery of the tubular part 22. The spring member 36 has a plurality of catching recessions 36a to be caught in the engaging groove 19 through the through holes 22b. The spring member 36 is detachably mounted to the mounting groove 22a with the case back 31 removed to detachably mount the bezel member 21 to the case middle 15. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
