PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a security strengthened automatic locking device which improves the security in an apartment house etc., and allows a person having authentic entrance permission to temporarily unlock even if the person does not hold a mechanical key or a card key. SOLUTION: According to the operation of the security strengthened automatic locking device, when a personal ID code registered in a biometrics information registration table and a card key means are inserted into an electric lock main body, the personal ID code is collated with generated personal ID code information, and if it is determined that the ID code is identical with the ID code information, a signal indicative of unlocking an electric lock main body of a corresponding room number is generated. Further when biometrics information newly input by the person having the authentic entrance permission is collated with the biometrics information registered in the biometrics information registration table, and if it is determined that both the information items are identical with each other, a signal for unlocking the electric lock main body is generated only over a predetermined time period.
