PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a rotary stone structure manufactured at a low cost using an optional material for a bearing member while carrying out centering with high accuracy, and also to provide the rotary stone structure. SOLUTION: In the method of manufacturing the rotary stone structure 1, the bearing member 5 is provided in a hole 22 of a rotation body 6 formed of stone into column shape and having the hole 22 on an axis, and the rotation body 6 is provided around a shaft rod 4 rotatably through the bearing member 5. A centering machine 26 having a rotatable chuck 28 for gripping the rotation body 6, and an axially movable rod 29 arranged coaxially with the chuck 28, is used to coaxially grip the rotation body 6 by the chuck 28, while the rod 29 is fitted into the bearing member 5 and then moved in the hole 22 of the rotation body 6. The chuck 28 is rotated to carry out centering of the rotation body 6, and an adhesive 23 is injected into the hole 22 of the rotation body 6 to fix the bearing member 5 to the rotation body 6.
