PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wood-based material-compounded resin composition capable of suppressing occurrence of odor, having good moldability and processability and excellent in surface property and mechanical strength when carrying out injection molding, extrusion molding and blow molding, in the wood-based material-compounded resin composition in which a propylene-based resin is compounded with a wood-based material and to provide a molded article by using the resin composition. SOLUTION: The wood-based material-compounded resin composition comprises a composition composed of 10-90 pts.wt. propylene-based resin (X) having 110-150°C melting point (Tp) measured by differential scanning calorimeter (DSC) method and 90-10 pts.wt. lignocellulose or cellulosic substance (Y) as a major raw material.
