PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust heat recovery system, in which a reverse flow of working medium at a condensation part can be prevented without the need of an inclination part. SOLUTION: In the exhaust heat recovery system, the condensation part 130 is disposed above an evaporation part 110, a loop-type heat pipe 101 in which the working medium is enclosed, exhaust heat of an internal combustion engine 10 is carried by the working medium from the evaporation part to the condensation part 130, the heat is recovered on a cooling water side of the internal combustion engine 10. A back flow preventing passage 136 is disposed to the inside of the condensation part 130. The back flow preventing passage 136 is extended upward from an inlet part 134 in which the working medium flows from the evaporation part 110, and constituting opening parts 137b opened near an upper end inner wall 135 of the condensation part 130.
