PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steel frame structure in which bolt-joining between a square or round steel pipe column and an H-shaped steel beam is materialized at a lower cost. SOLUTION: The steel frame structure 1 has the column/beam joint as follows. Namely, in the joint of the steel pipe column 2 and the H-shaped steel beam 3, flanges 3a, 3b of the H-shaped steel beam 3 are joined to the flanges 3a, 3b of the adjacent H-shaped steel beam 3 by bolts by the intermediary of steel plates. Nuts 8 covered by nut caps are provided at necessary positions of an inner surface of the steel pipe column 2. The flanges of the H-shaped steel beam 3 are joined to a side surface of the steel pipe column 2 by the bolts by the intermediary of vertical plates of the steel plates 4 and the nuts 8.
