PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure of a vertical member to a sash frame body facilitating assembly of an upper frame and the vertical member, excelling in design, and preventing flexure caused by buckling of the vertical member. SOLUTION: Expansion allowance cutout parts 47, 48 are formed in an indoor side wall 24 and an intermediate wall 25 of an upper frame 5 respectively, and expansion allowance recesses 31, 32 are formed in aspect side walls 22 of a meeting mullion 10. The meeting mullion 10 and the upper frame 5 are framed. An expansion allowance clearance 40 is formed between a base wall 23 of the upper frame 5 and an insertion protrusion part 36 of the meeting mullion 10, and a cushioning material 50 is disposed therein. Expansion allowances 49 are formed between the expansion allowance cutout parts 47, 48 and the expansion allowance recesses 31, 33. A screw 30 is inserted through the base wall 23 and screwed into the meeting mullion 10 through the cushioning material 50 to make the meeting mullion 10 expansible. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
