PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scope of endoscope allowing the distal end of a scope body to smoothly advancing in the intestines at a fixed speed, giving no discomfort and uneasiness to a subject by eliminating the excessive oppression to the intestine inner wall, facilitating the operation of an examiner, requiring no high technique and having superior operability and safety. SOLUTION: The distal end of a scope body 1 having an operating body 2 at its proximal end is provided with a scope advancing mechanism 3 advancing the scope body 1. The scope advancing mechanism 3 is constituted by providing front/rear-side stoppers 4 and 5 and a magnetic annulus body therebetween in a line, and comprises a stator 6 operable from the operating body 2, a slider 7 slidably fitted around the outer circumference of the stator 6, and a locking body 8 having a diameter-contracting body and provided around the outer circumference of the slider 7.
