PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate maintenance of an electric pot by making the inner face of an inner container flat even when a heater is installed inside the inner container. SOLUTION: The electric pot is provided with the inner container composed of vacuum double-walled structure made of an inner tube and an outer tube, a heating means for heating the water inside the inner container to a prescribed temperature, and a water temperature detecting means for detecting the temperature of the water inside the inner container through the inner container. A depression is formed by denting the inner tube of the inner container toward the side of the outer tube and the heating means is stored and installed inside the depression in a way that it forms the same plane with the outer side through a prescribed cover member.
