摘要 The provided is an anode structure that can be employed in a fuel cell system, and a fuel cell system using the anode structure. The anode structure includes a catalyst-impregnated electrode substrate and a catalyst layer formed on the catalyst-impregnated electrode substrate. The catalyst-impregnated electrode substrate is made by impregnating an electrode substrate with a catalyst. In one embodiment, a catalyst precursor is applied to an electrode substrate, and is heat treated to make an catalyst-impregnated electrode substrate. Experimental results show that power density of a fuel cell system is improved by the use of the anode structure that has a catalyst-impregnated electrode substrate.
