<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting device that has at least one effect among temperature compensation, voltage correction, and surge absorption. <P>SOLUTION: A light emitting device (1) comprises: a land (10) that is provided with two conductors (100, 101) for connection to a power source; a light emitting element (11) that is placed on the land and is electrically connected to the two conductors; and at least one correction element (12) that is electrically connected to the light emitting element. The light emitting element emits light after the two conductors are connected to the power source.
