<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simultaneously realize reduction of a torque ripple of a motor through a sinusoidal wave drive system and high efficient operation of the motor by current phase control. <P>SOLUTION: The semiconductor device for motor driving in this invention comprises six switching elements for driving a three-phase motor, three output terminals for applying output voltage respectively to three terminals of a coil in the three-phase motor, a drive circuit of the six switching elements, and an input terminal of six control signals for on/off controlling respectively the six switching elements, to seal one or a plurality of semiconductor chips into one package with resin, to be provided with a part or the whole of a current polarity detection circuit detecting the current polarity of a phase current of the three phase motor to output a current polarity signal, and to be provided with a current polarity signal output terminal for outputting the current polarity signal from the semiconductor device for motor driving to the outside. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
